SMS Messaging Consent

Overview
PetPulse ("we," "our," or "us") offers an optional SMS notification service that sends daily routine, medication, and health reminders for your pets directly to your mobile phone. This page describes how we collect consent to send these messages, what messages you will receive, and how you can opt out at any time.
Opt In
You are providing explicit consent to receive SMS messages (text messages) from PetPulse in one of the following ways:
- During account sign-up: On the account creation page, you may enter your mobile phone number and check the box labeled "I agree to receive SMS medication reminders from PetPulse. Message and data rates may apply."
- From your profile settings: After signing in, navigate to Profile → Notifications and toggle "SMS Reminders" to the on position, then confirm your mobile phone number.
Consent is voluntary. You may use PetPulse without enabling SMS notifications.
Types of Messages Sent
Once you opt in, PetPulse may send you the following types of SMS messages:
- Routine reminder alerts (e.g., "Time for Luna's evening walk" or "Time to give Luna her Apoquel dose")
- Missed-routine and missed-dose follow-up notifications
- Refill reminders when a medication, food, or treat supply is running low
- Account security alerts (e.g., login from a new device)
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the number of pets and routines you configure. You may receive up to several messages per day if multiple routines or medications are scheduled. You can adjust or silence individual reminders from within the PetPulse app at any time.
Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages from PetPulse at any time:
- Reply STOP to any PetPulse SMS message to immediately unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
- Sign in to PetPulse and navigate to Profile → Notifications and toggle "SMS Reminders" off.

Reply HELP to any PetPulse SMS message to receive a help response with support contact information. You may also reach us at [email protected] for assistance.
Costs and Carrier Information
Message and data rates may apply. PetPulse does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
SMS notifications are available to subscribers of participating US carriers. Supported carriers include, but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, and Cricket Wireless.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used solely to send PetPulse SMS notifications. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more info.
